Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. There are so many amusing things to do close to Jones Canyon; to be at this campground is always fun. All the splendid local attractions in the vicinity and all the outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. The personnel who's always there to be of assistance and the perfectly maintained facilities are pretty       unbelievable. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time; Jones Canyon is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. It's completely out of the question to get bored in Oregon if you love the outdoors. You   find the 44-mile-long Sherar's Falls to Columbia River section of Deschutes River close by; this is a category III whitewater sweep. For whitewater rafting or kayaking this sweep of Deschutes River is an enjoyable place. Whitewater rafting and kayaking could turn treacherous, so check conditions in advance of a trip. Pine Hollow Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Elder Creek is right next door to Jones Canyon and is always a joy to visit. It's always exciting to go for a fishing trip and a splendid spot to do that is Deschutes Canyon FLY Shop. Don't leave Jones Canyon without visiting White River Falls State Park, and a day of fishing at Young's Fishing Service is   always a fine idea.
