Norway Mountain obtains 8 feet of white snow yearly and has 6 ski lifts to move all the skiers up the mountain. On Pemebonwon - North Branch you run into the nearby Smalley Falls to Long Slide Falls sector. This is a class IV-V, 1.4-mile-from-start-to-finish section of whitewater. This section of Pemebonwon   - North Branch is a demanding section for whitewater rafting and kayaking.
