If by chance you're bringing a boat, you may launch it at the boat ramp, and this is a splendid location for boating. This campground has a playground for the kids, and The Cove Palisades State Park is a tremendous location for RV-ing. You may go for a splendid swim at this campground. A grade III+(V), 9-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater section can be found on close by Crooked River, the Crooked River Ranch to Billy Chinook Reservoir segment. The Crooked River Ranch to Billy Chinook Reservoir segment of Crooked   River is recommended for experienced kayak paddlers only.
