The campsites are spaciously located within the forest area for your nature enjoyment. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table and each RV site has electric, water, and sewer. The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal is located beside the Potomac River 1/2 mile to the south for additional hiking and biking. There is also a boat ramp located at that point on the river that is ideal for canoeing and kayaking. Immediately to the north of the campground is the 55,000-acre Green Ridge State Forest which offers numerous hiking trails and scenic spots, ATV and mountain biking trails. 15-Mile Creek runs through the property and is a stocked trout stream.
