Otter Springs Park & Campground is under new ownership and new management. We are now owned by Suwannee River Water Management District and managed by Gilchrist County. We have 636 acres of beautiful oak and cypress forest with lots of trails for walking, biking and golf carts. We are only two miles from the Nature Coast State Trail that runs from Trenton west to Fanning Springs, then north to Cross City or south to Chiefland. There are two natural springs on the property and a mile long spring run. Enjoy fishing along the spring run and the Suwannee River or launch your own boat from the adjacent county boat ramp. Swimming in the springs is a cool 72 degrees year round; if thatís a bit cool for your taste we also have an indoor heated pool. The campground has 100 full hook-up sites for RVs and about 30 sites for tents. The sites are grassy and shady. We also have 5 rental units with fully equipped kitchens and baths ≠ 3 small cabins with beds for 4 people; a 3 bedroom mobile home with beds for 6; and a 3 bedroom stilt house with beds for 8. Pets are welcome in the campground. We have two bath houses with laundry facilities behind each one. In addition to hiking, biking, swimming and fishing we also have shuffleboard, horseshoes, washer toss, ladder golf, croquet and volleyball. We are open year round; we accept cash and checks only. During the winter season we have bingo, card and board games and potluck dinners. Please visit our website at www. Ottersprings. Com or call us at 800-883-9107 or 352-463-0800.
