On a good day at Monongahela - Summit Lake you can take a hike along the Pocahontas Trail; Hanging Rock is clearly visible from Monongahela - Summit Lake. Going for a hike along the Fork Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Not far from Monongahela - Summit Lake you acquire some nice water scenery   at Summit Lake Dam. Hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail is wonderful fun, and Watoga State Park is a good spot to pop by.
