Dar is enormously popular with people from Port Henry. The caring staff and the well maintained facilities are reason enough to come here. Swimming at Dar is delightful exercise and a large amount of amusement too; there are showers here at Dar. There's more to do close to Dar other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, fishing,       hiking, playing golf, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Dar, and it is a wonderful campground. Get your sleeping bag packed   and head out on the road; Dar is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Vermont. Of course there are restrooms here, and you may take your old animals, pet animals are welcome. A number of people stay here for the purpose of being in close proximity to D.A.R. State Park. Dar is one of the places to camp here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's a magnificent playground, so the young ones could have a magnificent time. A visit to Vermont is not complete without some camping. The Moriah Center to Port Henry section has a mileage of 5 miles; you come upon this part of whitewater on Mill Creek. It's a class IV-V+ part. This part of Mill Creek is well suited for those proficient   in whitewater rafting or kayaking.
