The staff of this good campground and a magnificent variety of fun stuff have people coming from far and near. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is hiking, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Outdoors folks generally like this part of California. Indian Creek is very popular with folks from Gardnerville. This campground is one of the good spots to camp here in the Northern       Sierra Nevada. There are so many fun things to do in the neighborhood of Indian Creek, and loads of folks love to come here to get away. Scores of folks stay at Indian Creek to pop by close by Grover Hot Springs State Park. The   great selection of local attractions, and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Do bring the turtle here in view of the fact that animals are permitted; there are showers here at Indian Creek. Nearby there is a magnificent 20-mile-in-distance category II whitewater stretch, the Hangman's Bridge to CA-NV border segment of Carson River - East Fork. If by chance you would like to get drenched, this stretch of Carson River - East Fork is probably not for you. Don't go paddling ahead of first checking conditions; it's dangerous business. 2,762 feet of height variation and 3.4 miles of backcountry trekking is what you get at Burnside Lake Trail, a charming   great outdoors trail close at hand.
