There's a great grade V stretch of whitewater close by on Silver Creek, the 4.5-mile-in-length Lynx Creek to Mary Kiona Park sector. Only those experienced in whitewater kayaking or rafting should attempt to paddle this stretch of Silver Creek. Check current conditions prior to departure on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe and sound. Purcell Mountain Trail is a scenic wilderness hiking trail;   it's 8.5 miles from start to finish and has a difference in height of 5,050 feet.
