There's more to do right next door to Common       Ground other than just hanging out such as swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so probably you want to stay a bit. Loads of people stay at this campground in order to be close to Elmore State Park.   At Common Ground cool stuff to do is bountiful; when you are here for a while you will feel like a different person. The caring operators of the campground and all the enjoyable stuff to do are in themselves cause enough to come here. The Green Mountains scenery is always picturesque. The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are good causes to come. Common Ground is a nice location for RV-ing, and swimming pools are always pleasant, and there's one here, so you could take a swim. Common Ground is frequently visited by campers from Hyde Park. On Gihon River nearby you bump into the 3-mile-long VT 100c to covered bridge segment of category   III whitewater.
