There is so much enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Twin Rivers; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a great place to do that. New Mexico is a great place for outdoors folks. The magnificent variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are good reasons to come. A number of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being next to Heron Lake State Park. The great folks who manage this place and scores of cool things to do have folks coming here. close by. The 15-mile-in-distance Chama to Los Ojos portion is pleasant to paddle. By and large this sweep of Rio Chama is not a tough place for paddling.
