V & P is an old favorite with folks of Richmond. There is so much exciting stuff to do in close proximity to V & P, and it indisputably is a great campground.       Ok, it's been too much time since you went outside, time has come to get out, and V & P in Kansas is the outdoors at its finest. Natural Springs Lake is a good lake in the neighborhood of V & P; you'll meet a lot of people from Richmond   here. A spree to Pomona State Park when you're here at V & P is never a bad idea, and playing golf is lots of fun at Hickory Hollow Golf Club. Coming to this campground is always a perfect idea. Hillsdale Lake is a good place to go to on a lovely day, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Osawatomie Golf Course. At V & P during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for V & P. The amount of rain that falls at V & P is close to the national average.
