Pines is a campground relatively often visited by visitors from Harvard. There is a washing machine room for you to take advantage of; it's always enjoyable to go for a canoe ride at Pines. There's a great type IV-V section of whitewater close by on Big Bear River, the 16-mile-long Highway 8 Bridge to Kendrick High School section. This section of Big Bear River is well well suited for those skilled in whitewater kayaking or rafting.
