The Cold Brook Road to Route 17 segment has a distance of 3 miles; you discover this section of whitewater on Roaring Brook River. It's a category III-IV section. This section of Roaring Brook River is advised for whitewater paddlers of medium practice. For your protection you should always check the situation ahead of going raft paddling. Take a little journey to Lydall Brook since you're here at Camp Niantic-By-The-Atlantic;   in case you have a boat, Hartford Yacht Club is a magnificent marina.
