As if Sugar Ridge RV Village and Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of amusing stuff to do won’t happen. Powder Ridge close by is a great ski resort in possession of a delightful 500-foot drop from top to bottom served by 5 lifts; it has 19 slopes and gets blanketed by 5 feet of white snow every season. There are 88 acres of skiable area at Powder Ridge, 25% of the slopes are advanced and expert; those are the ones the experienced skiers enjoy the most. 75% of the slopes at Powder Ridge are easy and suitable for children and beginners. Head out on the pretty water at Portland Riverside Marina. Lakes are tremendous; Mount Higby Reservoir is a lake that's close to Sugar Ridge RV Village and Campground.
