| | a good location to go. Loads of folks camp here to be in the neighborhood of Medicine Bow National Forest. On North Platte River nearby you discover the 20-mile-in-distance State line to French Creek portion of type I-III whitewater. This portion of North Platte River is fine for those with a bit of whitewater paddling experience. Naturally, whitewater paddling is exciting but hazardous; check current conditions ahead of going. Parkview Hill is clearly visible from Six Mile Gap; going for a hike along the Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. to leave out. Loads of fun is at this campground. Sixmile Gap is right next door to Six Mile Gap and is a tremendous place, and don't leave Six Mile Gap without first checking out Elkhorn Point.
