Winterplace has 27 ski runs and 9 great ski lifts. Winterplace is a good ski area, everyone likes it. 85% of the ski runs are green and blue and well suited for kids and beginners. The rest of the 90 acres of skiable land, 15%, consists of demanding ski runs. The Camp Creek State Forest to Bluestone River portion on Camp Creek is a close by type II-III whitewater   bit, 4.5 miles long. This bit of Camp Creek is a fun bit for whitewater kayaking and rafting.
