The FR 2206 access to FR 22 Bridge portion of Humptulips River - East Fork is appropriate for whitewater paddlers who have been raft paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared for the especially hazardous rapids. Always check restrictions prior to departure raft paddling because raft paddling is a hazardous pursuit. Skyline Trail is a striking nearby trail; it has a variation in altitude of 5,309 feet and is 52.4 miles long. A difficult trail it is; Skyline Trail requires roughly seven days to walk. Near West Fork Shelter you locate the Skyline Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a quick tour to Petes Creek is positively  
a fine idea. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. Olympic National Forest is a great spot to go if you're at West Fork Shelter, and beautiful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you acquire at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge.
