On close by Wynoochee River you locate a category II-III(V) run of whitewater;

Don't neglect to check current conditions before heading out kayak paddling to guarantee your safety. The difference in elevation is 5,309 feet for a stunning 52.4-mile-long hiking trail nearby; we are unsurprisingly speaking about the Skyline Trail. The Skyline Trail is tough; it requires about seven days to backcountry hike. A trip to a nearby bowling alley like Monte Lanes is always fun, obviously you could also go to Wynoochee Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
