Leonard “Bud” Allen Park/Cowlitz Falls Camp Ground is a top selection with the residents of Glenoma. The Cispus River to Riffe Lake section has a distance of 9 miles; you come upon this section of whitewater on Cowlitz River. It's a grade III section. This section of Cowlitz River is suggested for whitewater paddlers of medium familiarity. Don't go whitewater paddling before first checking restrictions; it's risky stuff. The altitude variation is 3,193 feet for a gorgeous 5.5-mile-long backcountry hiking trail close at hand; we are naturally talking about the Osborne Mountain Trail. Osborne Mountain Trail is a demanding
 
backcountry hiking trail that requires around one day to backcountry trek. With its 382 foot difference between top and bottom it's a striking backcountry hiking trail; the Independence Pass Interpretive Trail is 1.
