38 feet of white snow fall per winter on the 2,280-foot altitude difference of Alpental, the nearby ski hill. Alpental has 19 slopes and 5 good ski lifts. Everyone loves Alpental and its 825 acres of skiing land. 25% of the slopes are blue and green while 75% of them are expert and advanced and suited for skilled skiers. The Taylor River to Concrete bridge segment, a whitewater part on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork is 7.5 miles from start to finish. This close by part of whitewater is a grade II. River - Middle Fork is delightful for those missing a great deal of whitewater skill. You should check conditions prior to departure; whitewater boating can turn risky.
