A class II, 9.1-mile-long whitewater part can be found on close by Stillaguamish River - South Fork, the Granite Falls to Jordan section. Kayak paddlers on this part of Stillaguamish River - South Fork don’t need loads of skill in whitewater rafting and kayaking. Always check the situation prior to departure whitewater rafting and kayaking as whitewater rafting and kayaking is a hazardous pursuit. If you want to hit the beach, Rosemont Beach is close by; if the young ones are too restless just take them to The Airlock and let them play some enjoyable video games. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
