Moses Lake State Park is a fine place to have a look at; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Moses Lake. A round of golf at nearby Highlander Greens is a great way to kill some time. The top of Jackass Mountain is easily observed from Windmill Lake, and locations like Potholes State Park are fine to explore. Sage Hills Golf Club & RV Resort is a great golf course nearby. Not much rain falls here at Windmill Lake.
