The 14.5-mile-from-start-to-finish Ardenvoir to Columbia River segment is pleasant to paddle. You might get dripping wet whitewater paddling this stretch of Entiat River, so you should be prepared for that. Naturally, whitewater paddling is cool but treacherous; check conditions prior to departure. The 5,475 foot variation between top and bottom Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail is a charming spot to go backpacking; it's 14.6 miles of great backpacking. Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail takes two and a half days to walk; it's a demanding hiking trail.
