The novices should probably stay away from this sweep of Entiat River. Always check current conditions before heading out whitewater kayaking or rafting given that whitewater kayaking or rafting is a dangerous thing to do. A picturesque hiking and backpacking trail close by is Hunters Trail; it's 11.4 miles in distance and has a variation in altitude   of 2,937 feet.
