River has a nearby whitewater stretch; the Buttermilk Creek to town of Twisp sector is a good 10-mile-from-beginning-to-end type III stretch of whitewater. When the conditions are right this stretch of Twisp River is a cool stretch
| | of river for raft paddling. Don't snub to check circumstances before heading out raft paddling to ensure your security. There's great hiking along the Driveway Butte Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to visit Okanogan National Forest. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a visit to nearby Wilson Ranch Stable and ride a horse, and some of the water nearby flows, like Lime Creek.
