Lizard Lake is an old favorite with visitors from Bow.
Ok, time for a camping trip, or what do you think? Lizard Lake in Washington is a magnificent place to go. Washington has loads of outdoors activities.
So much fun stuff close to Lizard Lake, and it indisputably is a magnificent campground. The great choice of local attractions, and so many things to do are certain to keep you coming back persistently.
Lots of folks stay at Lizard Lake to be right next door to Larrabee State Park. The caring reception and a good variety of cool stuff makes the trip here worthwhile. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf,
whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
There's a good type III-IV+(V+) part of whitewater nearby on Whatcom Creek, the 2-mile-long Lake Whatcom to Yew St. Bridge section.
The beginners should in all probability stay away from this part of Whatcom Creek. Whitewater rapids are treacherous matters, so you must check the latest conditions prior to departure. This is a popular place for folks from Bow, and Lang's Horse & Pony Farm is a magnificent setting to ride horses near Lizard Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Padden is near Lizard Lake. Going for a horse ride at nearby Cultus Mountain Ranch is always a fun thing to do. If time allows, North Cascades National Park is a national park worth visiting. Go on a trip to Interplay Horsemanship if by chance you want to ride a horse. Don't miss out on a tour to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area since you're here
at Lizard Lake. If you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is North Bellingham Golf Course; since you're here, you could visit Whitehall Creek.
