The height difference is 2,210 feet at Okemo. Skiers from all over like Okemo. 32% of the runs at Okemo are challenging, and 68% are beginner and intermediate; there is a total of 601 acres of skiable area. Magic Mountain is a tremendous ski area, everyone enjoys it. 63% of the slopes are intermediate or beginner and appropriate for young ones and beginners. The rest of the 135 acres of skiable area, 37%, consists of red and black slopes. 15 feet of snow fall annually on the 1,700-foot drop of Magic Mountain, the nearby ski area. | |

Magic Mountain has 40 slopes and 4 ski lifts. The East Wallingford to Clarendon segment is a wonderful 6-mile-in-length class II-III run of whitewater on Mill River.
