The 22 feet of white snow that fall every year at the close by ski mountain Sugarbush is perfect. Sugarbush has 17 good ski lifts, a nice 2,650-foot height difference, and 115 slopes. The nearby class I-II, 20-mile-from-start-to-finish Rochester to Bethel   sector of whitewater on White River is loads of fun.
