There's more to do right next door to   Longwood other than just hanging out such as playing golf, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. If you are in Virginia through camping season, you ought to go camping. Lots of folks stay at this campground in order to be close to Occoneechee State Park. Longwood is a very popular campground among folks in Clarksville. There are showers here at Longwood. John H. Kerr Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and there's some exciting stuff to see at Lewis Mill Dam right next door to Longwood. The pretty marina of Steele Creek Marina & Campground is a good place to leave dry land behind. Beaver Pond Creek is   a stream that you may bump into while you're here.
