Don't go whitewater kayaking and rafting on this sweep   of Staton's Creek unless you believe your whitewater kayaking and rafting capabilities are very delightful. Whitewater rafting or kayaking could turn perilous, so check circumstances before heading out. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Wintergreen, and hiking along the White Rock Gap Trail is wonderful fun. And that's not all you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Little Cove Creek; do take a hike on the Rocky Row Trail. This campground is so splendid. The cheerful people of Vesuvius like to hang out nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cold Spring Bald Mountain Trail; here at Cow Camp Shelter - Appalachian   Trail you can see Bald Knob.
