Doc's Knob Shelter - Appalachian Trail is a campground that is incredibly esteemed by folks of Narrows. In the event that you enjoy
 
    whitewater, there is the State line to Bull Falls Campground segment, a category I-II+(III) whitewater bit on New River, 14.8 miles from beginning to end. This segment of New River is advised for whitewater paddlers of medium familiarity.
 For your wellbeing you must always check the situation before going whitewater rafting and kayaking. A spree to a nearby bowling alley such as Tony's Family FUN is always fun. For all you boaters, Rock House Marina is a wonderful marina in the vicinity, and the nice people of Narrows like to hang out nearby. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Go for a hike on the Standing Branch Horse Trail, and a pleasant view of beautiful Sugar Run Mountain is available. A fishing trip to close by Appalachian Waters Float Fishing and Guide Service is always a splendid idea. Near Doc's Knob Shelter - Appalachian Trail you come across a golf course called Castle Rock Golf Course. Going  
for a magnificent fishing trip at Team Buckhorn is always enjoyable. A tour to Claytor Lake State Park when you're here at Doc's Knob Shelter - Appalachian Trail is never a bad idea; going for a hike on the Ripple Trail is always a nice adventure.
