The people who care for the campground and the good multitude of fun activities are a tremendous attraction for loads of folks. This part of Utah is always a joy to stop at through camping season. All the tremendous local attractions in the vicinity and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are splendid incentives to come.
There's so many things to do at Pelican Lake South including whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so most likely you want to stick around for a while.

Everybody must go camping sometimes, and Pelican Lake South is a delightful local campground if you happen to be in Utah.
Green River has a class II-III sweep of whitewater nearby. The 128-mile-from-start-to-finish Ouray to Green
| | | River Town sector is great to raft. You might get wet kayak paddling this sweep of Green River, so you should be prepared for that. If by chance you are going kayak paddling, you must always check circumstances. Pelican Lake South is in the neighborhood of Red Fleet State Park which is a scenic site. While you're here at Pelican Lake South you will meet lots of folks from nearby Randlett. Steinaker State Park is both good and pretty, and it's right next door to Pelican Lake South, and for all you boaters, High Desret Marina is a splendid marina nearby. This is a pleasant campground. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Pelican Lake Dam in the vicinity of Pelican Lake South. | |

Why don't you bring the young ones to Dinah Bowl while here at Pelican Lake South. Do set aside some time for Ouray Park since you're here at Pelican Lake South, and a game of bowling is enjoyable at nearby Ute Lanes.
