There's such a vast number of things to do at Kimball Bend including swimming, hiking, playing golf, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely       to happen. Kimball Bend is a popular spot with visitors from Kopperl. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to go camping, and Kimball Bend in Texas is such a great place. All the happy folks and the   delightful massive amount of fun activities have a lot of people coming here. There are water hookups. Scores of folks stay at this campground during their journey to Cleburne State Park. It's impossible to run out of fun things to do close to Kimball Bend; it certainly is a great campground. In Texas you never run out of outdoors fun things. Nolan River has a nearby whitewater run; the SH 174 to Adair Spring Park segment is a great 6-mile-in-distance class II run of whitewater. The SH 174 to Adair Spring Park segment of Nolan River is advised for novice kayak paddlers. Always check restrictions prior to departure whitewater rafting and kayaking since whitewater rafting and kayaking   is a treacherous endeavor.
