Sixmile Creek has a nearby whitewater   bit; the Jones Mill Road to Lake Issaqueena segment is a delightful 2-mile-in-distance class II-III bit of whitewater. This segment of Sixmile Creek is advised for paddlers of medium knowledge. Check conditions previous to going on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe. Have a good hiking adventure along the Ellicott Rock Trail, and a game of bowling is exciting at nearby Oconee Lanes. While you're here at Mile Creek County Park you can take a hike along the Burrells Ford Trail, and in close proximity to Mile Creek County Park you find a golf course called Reserve 1 Golf Course. This campground is so good. When you're here at Mile Creek County Park it's always fun to go to Keowee-Toxaway   State Park, and go on a journey to Kings Grove Stables if you want to ride a horse.
