This segment of Clackamas River is recommended for whitewater boaters of medium knowledge. Whitewater rapids are perilous occurrences, so you must check the situation before you go. A good 8.6-mile-long beautiful wilderness trail boasting a variation in altitude of 3,204 feet can be encountered in the neighborhood; this is the Dry Ridge Trail.
