Yellowbottom       is a very popular old favorite campground among residents of Gates. This segment of Oregon is always a bliss to take a look at during camping season. The accommodating operators of the campground and the satisfactorily kept up   facilities have folks coming here. Such a splendid pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come. On Canal Creek close by you come upon the 1.2-mile-in-distance 1.2 mi above Quartzville Creek segment of class IV-V whitewater. If you have a lot of whitewater rafting or kayaking practice, this segment of Canal Creek may be a glorious whitewater segment for you. Naturally, whitewater rafting or kayaking is cool but treacherous; check current conditions before you go. The 2,044 foot variation in height Minniece Point Trail is a wonderful place to go backpacking; it's 5 miles of tremendous backpacking. A hard wilderness trail it is; Minniece Point Trail calls   for about five hours to backcountry walk.
