The Dutch Oven Camp to Cougar Reservoir segment of McKenzie River - South Fork is suitable for whitewater paddlers who have been raft paddling for a period of time but who are not yet ready for the incredibly hazardous rapids. Don't go raft paddling before first checking conditions; it's hazardous stuff. Rebel Rock Trail is a stunning   wilderness hiking trail; it's 10.6 miles long and has a variation in height of 3,608 feet.
