| | Crossing is one of the places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. There's a good 11.3-mile-from-beginning-to-end category II-III whitewater bit on White River close by, the Victor Road Bridge to Tygh Valley section. On the whole this bit of White River is an enjoyable location for whitewater boating. Of course, whitewater boating is amusing but hazardous; check circumstances ahead of going. Ball Point Trail is a delightful wilderness hiking trail; it's 5.8 miles long and has a variation in height of 1,641 feet. Ball Point Trail is six hours of hiking. Little Badger Creek Trail is a delightful nearby hiking trail; it has a height variation of 2,826 feet and is 5.5 miles in length. | |
