There's a splendid 6-mile-long type IV whitewater bit on Steamboat Creek close by, the Steamboat Falls to Canton Creek Campground section. This bit of Steamboat Creek is not a location for learners to come whitewater boating single-handedly. Whitewater boating could get hazardous, so check current conditions ahead of going. There's a great 6-mile-long hiking and backpacking trail having a great 1,482-foot difference in elevation close at hand; this stunning hiking and backpacking trail is the Deception Way. Deception Way is   a difficult six hours of backpacking.
