A great backpacking and hiking trail with a variation between top and bottom of 2,210 feet, and 5.4 miles from start to finish, can be encountered close by. This scenic backpacking and hiking trail is the Roosevelt Way. In the order of six hours of tough backcountry backpacking on the Roosevelt Way is time well expended. 2,108 feet is the altitude   variation of nearby Dead Mountain Trail.
