On Brice Creek close by you run into the 5-mile-long Champion Creek to Cedar Creek Campground sector of grade IV-V whitewater. This part of Brice Creek is a challenging part for whitewater kayaking and rafting. Of course, whitewater kayaking and rafting is cool but risky; check conditions prior to departure. Steamboat Trail is 5.9 miles in distance. This pretty backcountry trail has an elevation variation of 2,985 feet. A difficult backcountry trail it is; Steamboat Trail necessitates approximately one day to trek. Mayflower Trail around here has   a variation in elevation of 1,953 feet.
