You need a 4x4 just to get there. There is no golfing. The river and land is extremely rugged back country. It is 18 miles to any type of civilization. At Illinois River - Panther Bar exciting stuff to do is abundant, and you always have a pleasant time when you're here. The positive ambiance and the well kept up facilities are motive enough to come here.   The tremendous selection of local attractions, and so many things to do will definitely have you coming back over and over. Illinois River - Panther Bar is a splendid campground to use as a base while enjoying the Coast Ranges. Oregon is a pleasant outdoors state. It's been too long since you went outside, and Illinois River - Panther Bar is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in Oregon. There's so many things to do at Illinois River - Panther Bar including playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so most likely you want to stay for a while. There's a pleasant class IV(V) section of whitewater close by on Illinois River, the 31-mile-in-length   Miami Bar to Oak Flat segment. Taken as a whole this section of Illinois River is a difficult spot for whitewater paddling.
