The wonderful pick of local attractions, and such a vast number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back over and over. The Military Turnpike below Schuyler Falls to Lake Champlain portion on Salmon River is a nearby grade IV whitewater sweep, 6.5 miles in length. This portion of Salmon River is proposed for kayak paddlers of medium practice. Don't snub to check current conditions prior to departure raft paddling to guarantee your safety. Nearby American Recreation   is cool for everybody, and hey, Ausable River is a great local stream.
