There's a good 1,600-foot altitude difference   to enjoy at the close by ski hill Hunter Mountain. Hunter Mountain receives 10 feet of good snow every winter, and has 11 great ski lifts serving the 55 runs. Skiers from far and wide enjoy Hunter Mountain. 40% of the runs at Hunter Mountain are hard, and 60% are beginner and intermediate; there is a total of 240 acres of skiable area. Ski down the 46 runs of Windham Mountain; this ski resort has an elevation difference of 1,600 feet. Windham Mountain has 10 great ski lifts and obtains on average 9 feet of snow every season. Windham Mountain is a splendid ski resort, everybody likes it. 75% of the runs are green and blue and well suited for children and novices. The rest of the 267 acres   of skiing area, 25%, consists of red and black runs.
