There's such a great deal of things to do near Meadowbrook, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a tremendous place to do that. Mount Pisgah is a skiers paradise. It has 10% hard slopes on its 12 acres of skiable terrain, and 90% green and blue slopes for novices. Mount Pisgah, the close by ski resort has a drop from top to bottom of 300 feet; this ski resort has 2 good ski lifts, and 7 feet of wonderful snow every season covering its 5 slopes. A close by type II-V+ whitewater section can be encountered on Cold River; the Duck Hole to mouth portion is 14 miles long. Only those proficient in paddling should try to kayak this section of   Cold River. You have to check conditions before you go; paddling may get hazardous.
