stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored. This campground is one of the good places to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Rio Brazos has a grade V+
| | bit of whitewater close by. The 14.5-mile-in-length above Corkins Lodge section is fine to raft. This bit of Rio Brazos is not a location where beginners should come whitewater rafting and kayaking. For your safety you should always check current conditions prior to going whitewater rafting and kayaking. Carson National Forest is a perfect site to stretch your legs a bit. Lakes? Sure, Rinker Lake is nearby. All year is a glorious time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors.
