Sipapu close by   is a great ski mountain; it gets 16 feet of good snow every winter; it has 31 trails, 4 lifts, and a perfect 1,055-foot drop from top to bottom. There are 200 acres of skiing land at Sipapu, 40% of the trails are advanced and expert; those are the ones the skilled skiers like the most. 60% of the trails at Sipapu are easy and suitable for kids and beginners. While you're here at Llanito Frio you will meet lots of folks from nearby Llano. Going for a good snow mobile ride at A A Taos Ski Valley Wilderness on a wintertime day is always enjoyable. If you're here at Llanito Frio, you could stop at Indian Creek; close by Comales Canyon is a perfect location to go.
