Don't miss out on a spree to Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument while you're here at New Canyon, and there's nice hiking along the Crest Trail. Yeah, come here to New Canyon for a nice time. Very striking scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Sandia Peak; New Canyon is right by the Bosque Trail. The Ox Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best. During the summer, highs mostly are in the 90's   at New Canyon, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
