Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Rinker Lake in close proximity to Cruces Basin Trailhead. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Cruces Basin Trailhead called the La Manga Stock Driveway, and Osha Canyon is also a pleasant place to explore.
